The color is lighter than I expected, it leans more white with a slight yellow tint rather than a true wood tone but it’s still beautiful. I really like the design of this rug. When we rolled it out from its original packaging there were a lot of lumps and bumps that we were able to flatten by using some heavy books and a piece of plywood.
