The overall quality of the range has been excellent so far. We get compliments about it from all our guests and it really is a statement piece in the center of our kitchen. The only grip I have is that the burners do not turn down enough and the wok burner makes a strange humming sound at any level above 5 when any pan is placed above it. We are used to cooking with stainless cookware and the only usable burner for cooking on lower heat is the simmer burner. The others are just too intense. The grates are really heavy duty. I’ve grown to hate appliances with overly complicated computers in them. They constantly break and never work well. I love that this stove only has the features you need for cooking. The burners work very well and are true to the temperatures you select. I used to have Cafe ranges and they all would get way too hot and were more difficult to control. This Kucht range is more true and is much easier to cook with. You can still get things scorching hot if you want, but you can also gently simmer. One thing I don’t like is that the broiler is only down the center of the oven. I often finish dishes off under the broiler to get things browned quickly on top. The broiler feature will only work on things near the center so you can’t get an even broil over a casserole for instance. Thankfully I have a second oven or this would be a big issue for me. The other slight issue is that parts of the exterior get quite warm when the oven on. Especially near the bottom. Not great when young kids are in the house. Picking a stove was a major consideration and dilemma for me during my kitchen renovation. After finally settling on this Paramount duel fuel, I am very glad I went with it! It’s really beautiful and so far, has worked flawlessly. Nice flames, easy to adjust (I made the switch to gas from electric and I am so pleased!). The oven has been spot on with temp with no real learning curve. Love the simple and basic controls, no frills with the exception of style and lovely slide-out racks! Minus one star for being a little bulkysticking out farther than many (although i knew this at purchase) and also for some loud popscreaksgroans when oven coming to temp.
