This dryer is awesome. It seems like it takes longer than a normal dryer, but it really doesn't. We don't have to run it 3 times to dry towels. It can fit a lot of towels. It can dry our king size comforter with ease. It uses about 1/4 the power of our old normal dryer. It also is really good at removing pet hair from clothes. This is a great little dehumidifier. We got it for our basement because our old one was getting old and starting to have problems. This one is smaller and a lot quieter. This dehumidifier works amazing! We had a humidity issue in our house and this fixed it. This dehumidifier works so well it actually made our smart thermostat send alert that humidity had dropped below normal. It’s powerful enough to cool our entire garage (and we live in the South-so it definitely has its work cut out for it). The heater doesn’t exactly heat the whole room when it’s super cold out, but it definitely takes the chill out of the air and warms it sufficiently to make it possible to use the room in winter. Just like the matching washer, I bought it for an upstairs laundry closet area where a normal size stacked washer and dryer just would not fit in my home. We are running the water lines next week and I honestly cant wait to get everything installed upstairs, but for now I’ve been trying it out in the basement and have been really impressed with it so far. One thing I had to learn at first is that heat pump dryers work differently than a traditional dryer. I was expecting clothes to come out feeling really hot, so at first I thought something was wrong, but once I read about how they work it made a lot more sense. It’s more energy efficient and much gentler on your clothes, which I really appreciate. The 40 minute quick cycle has been great for smaller loads, and I also love that you can set it to keep tumbling to help prevent wrinkles if you don’t unload it right away. The drum light is also a great feature and makes it much easier to see everything inside. Another thing I really like is the lint filter design. It has a nice double filter setup with very fine mesh that does a great job catching lint. I also love that this is ventless, because that opens up so many more options for where you can put it. It’s wonderful for spaces where you normally couldn’t install a dryer, and I also like that you can optionally hook it up to drain automatically instead of having to empty the water container. Another nice bonus is that it’s WiFi connected. I wouldn’t say that’s something I absolutely need, but it is really nice to have.
