Very happy with this desk—it was a great purchase. The wood finish looks beautiful in person and gives a warm, high-quality feel that makes my workspace look much more put together. I also really liked the L-shape design and the drawers; it gives me plenty of room to work while keeping everything within reach. Assembly was a bit challenging but I found an assembly YouTube video which helped a lot and made things much clearer. I was able to assemble it completely on my own. These closet systems are a great color. Assembly was VERY time consuming. We ended up hiring a contractor to assemble and install them. The assembly time indicated was grossly underestimated. The curtain rods that are inside of the main portion of the system doesn’t have enough room to hang a simple shirt. They should have been mounted above the shelf and the shelf should have been removed all together. It is definitely more cheaply made that previous systems we have had. My only concern is that the elevated monitor stand is noticeably bending with my 2 monitors on it - so much so that when pressed together to form a continuous screen, the top corners touch with a visible gap at the bottom corners.
