This range hood is high quality. I bought a cheaper version a few years ago for my old house. I liked it, but now that I have this I can see where the cheaper one was lacking. This range hood is thicker steel that wont dent as easily. The oil tray is steel, the baffle filters feel commercial grade, the large duct size really moves a lot of air. I am glad I spent the money. Its loud but quieter than the old one. Relatively quiet for the amount of air it moves. The instructions are good, mounting is easy and secure. Bought this to go with the Doux trim set I also purchased (bought 4). Wayfair’s sale was excellent and it was actually cheaper to buy the bathshower trim than the shower-only trim for a few days. For the showers, I will also install a wall-mounted handheld shower with a slider bar. This allows me to have a perfect matching set. The Moen digital shower controller is a nice upgrade. We needed a controller on the opposite side of the shower from the shower head, so the water could be turned on without entering the shower.
