This is a a great storage shed if you have bulky stuff or things like bicycles that you would need to store. It does not weigh 5 tons, but it also feels sturdy enough for outdoor storage. What I would have improved for this unit is, you have to drill some of the holes yourself (specially those for the small screws). In essence, they don't even have a "mini-hole mark" or something that guides your drilling. You basically have to eye-ball it. Also, the holes on some of the brackets are super small and you almost have to force the screws into them. Shed went together easily, with decent directions. I understand why the metal is covered with plastic to protect during shipping, but it peels and looks bad in time. I recommend setting this up on 2 pallets with plywood attached on top if it isn't going on a hard level surface. Tolerances are tight, and you will be happier with the result if it's on a perfectly level surface. Too bad about the peeling plastic, as it's a good looking shed for the money. The product arrives in two long, flat boxes. The packing was sufficient for the most part except for the triangular pieces that are part of the roof. They were dented and scratched, but I didn’t think it was worth my time and trouble to try to have them replaced, so I pounded out the dents with a rubber mallet. The flaws are visible, but not as bad as how they came. Each piece of metal is covered with plastic film that should be removed before assembly, which takes a lot of time and patience, but once removed the metal surfaces are very clean with a good coating. Assembly definitely requires two people and several hours since there are over 300 screws, but once assembled, the structure is very solid. I was impressed with the engineering. All of the screw holes lined up and the instructions/diagrams were easy to follow. I built a wooden deck with 2x6 treated joists and treated plywood for the floor and screwed the base to that.
