This rug is beautiful, and so soft! It looses a star because the frayed edges have threads pulling out, and I worry about its reliability over time with kids and pets. It’s also a lot lighter than pictured. I was expecting more color but it’s pretty light. It’s beautiful! I am glad I got it on sale though, as I don’t think it’s worth over 1k in the 9x12 size.. This jute rug is perfect for my office! I love the size, and the jute is surprisingly soft. From what I can tell so far, it’s not shedding much at all and it didn’t have any weird smell or shedding right out of the package, which was a huge plus.
