We needed a living room rug that would blend in with our floral chairs and accent the room nicely. We like rugs with thicker piles. This rug worked perfectly. I bought two of these rugs after looking for some time. I have used them on my covered porch for two spring /summer seasons. I am very happy with the durability and it is lovely. Would definitely order again and again. The colour is neutral and gives a "jute rug" vibe however the rug is soft (flat pile). I have not experienced any issues with the threads or staining. It has been wet and dries fairly quickly. Not certain I would install in areas that are not protected as it is not on the cheaper side and would be concerned the elements may damage it. I absolutely love this rug! The colors are beautiful and look exactly as pictured. It adds so much warmth and style to our dining room. When I first unboxed it, the ends wanted to curl up a bit, but I placed a few ice cubes along the rolled edges and let them melt. After drying, the rug laid flat with no issues.
