We needed a living room rug that would blend in with our floral chairs and accent the room nicely. We like rugs with thicker piles. This rug worked perfectly. The colors are muted enough to not fight with our chairs. It is a bit more yellowish than the picture showed but it works for us. The carpet layer smooth from the beginning. This rug is soft and low pile. It was packaged really well and did lay flat after only one day. I have this rug in my kids room, and I have had to vacuum it a lot, and it has held up well.
