This jute rug is perfect for my office! I love the size, and the jute is surprisingly soft. From what I can tell so far, it’s not shedding much at all and it didn’t have any weird smell or shedding right out of the package, which was a huge plus. I needed something thin that would still allow my office chair to roll over it freely, and this fir the bill. I like the nice subtle design. It really balances out the darkness of my wood paneled room with the more contemporary light colored and metal furniture. It really ties the room together. It also cleans up easily - no issues with any of my vacuums. Though it is somewhat thin, it's still heavy enough to stay put when vacuuming. I deducted one star because I noticed after about a year or so, the rug started losing its shape ever so slightly in the area where my chair rolls around. Like it was bubbling/warping a bit.
