We needed a living room rug that would blend in with our floral chairs and accent the room nicely. We like rugs with thicker piles. This rug worked perfectly. The colors are muted enough to not fight with our chairs. It is a bit more yellowish than the picture showed but it works for us. The carpet layer smooth from the beginning. Very pretty rug! The overall look of the rug is neutral while also adding a subtle touch of grayish teal. (In pictures it shows as gray, but there is a definitely some blue/green to it.)
