This jute rug is perfect for my office! I love the size, and the jute is surprisingly soft. From what I can tell so far, it’s not shedding much at all and it didn’t have any weird smell or shedding right out of the package, which was a huge plus. It also doesn’t look overly frayed like some jute rugs can. It has a really polished, clean look while still keeping that natural jute feel, if that makes sense. Overall, I’m really happy with it!. I bought two of these rugs after looking for some time. I have used them on my covered porch for two spring /summer seasons. I am very happy with the durability and it is lovely. Would definitely order again and again. The colour is neutral and gives a "jute rug" vibe however the rug is soft (flat pile). I have not experienced any issues with the threads or staining. It has been wet and dries fairly quickly. Not certain I would install in areas that are not protected as it is not on the cheaper side and would be concerned the elements may damage it. We needed a living room rug that would blend in with our floral chairs and accent the room nicely. We like rugs with thicker piles. This rug worked perfectly. The colors are muted enough to not fight with our chairs. It is a bit more yellowish than the picture showed but it works for us. The carpet layer smooth from the beginning. I was not sure about buying a rug without being in person, as you can’t touch or feel the rug nor really capture the color via a screen, but we love it!
