This rug is beautiful and ties the room together very nicely. I added a 1/2 inch pad which has helped with cushioning since the rug itself is thin. It’s soft to walk on, and the pattern & two-tone colour variation brings a lot of warmth and camouflages stains well because my cat vomited on it shortly after laying it out. The "Dove" color is in between tan and gray. I would call it taupe. I have not seen another rug like this. It seems to be made very well and I had no issues with the fringe. Normally I don't like a fringed rug (OCD) but the fringes are sewn onto a kind of wire? so they don't flop around and they don't look like they will fray. If you love jute or sisal look but don't want the smell or the shedding, it's a great alternative. My only knock is that it's very thin, but it's made for outdoors so it would be perfect for a dining room! It's in my guest bath now but I will be moving it to my kitchen. Because it's so flat, it won't be a tripping hazard and I don't think I'll have to worry about stains. I will be purchasing more in other sizes and that says a lot because I'm usually very picky about my rugs. For once I'm happily surprised, not disappointed! I was able to get this on sale for around $105, which I think is a great value. At the current ~$200 price point, I personally wouldn’t repurchase. The rug itself is very pretty — the colors are vibrant and give that vintage, high-end look. It’s a printed, low-pile rug, so don’t expect it to be soft or plush underfoot. It lays fairly flat, but you’ll definitely want a rug pad or some heavier furniture on it to keep it from sliding around. I can’t believe I got this rug for the price I did! I originally ordered a smaller one for my bedroom and when I took it out of the box I laid it out in the living room room, and the colors looked so good I had to order the bigger one for my living room! I originally had a white rug in here, but was so tired of everything being white white white. Love the warmth of this one! It isn’t super soft, but that is what I wanted and is as expected based on description. I have two young boys and two animals so I do not need anything that will hold onto dirt very easily.
