This jute rug is perfect for my office! I love the size, and the jute is surprisingly soft. From what I can tell so far, it’s not shedding much at all and it didn’t have any weird smell or shedding right out of the package, which was a huge plus. I was able to get this on sale for around $105, which I think is a great value. At the current ~$200 price point, I personally wouldn’t repurchase. The rug itself is very pretty — the colors are vibrant and give that vintage, high-end look. It’s a printed, low-pile rug, so don’t expect it to be soft or plush underfoot. It lays fairly flat, but you’ll definitely want a rug pad or some heavier furniture on it to keep it from sliding around.
