The LEDefense light looks cool and it seems to really work well too. I have put a lot of garlic through it and the light seems to have kept any odor from that at bay. Love that feature, cuz the musty disposal smell was one of the reasons that I had my last disposal ripped out. Because of these extra features, it takes up a bit more room under the sink. I purchased this item to replace my old one that went out on me though it was difficult to install it but I was wrong it was very simple and I did it myself instead of paying 250 dollars for a plumber to come out to install it once I installed it I was very impressed with the quality and the preference of it.
