I bought two of these rugs after looking for some time. I have used them on my covered porch for two spring /summer seasons. I am very happy with the durability and it is lovely. Would definitely order again and again. The colour is neutral and gives a "jute rug" vibe however the rug is soft (flat pile). I have not experienced any issues with the threads or staining. It has been wet and dries fairly quickly. Not certain I would install in areas that are not protected as it is not on the cheaper side and would be concerned the elements may damage it. This is a very nice rug! Its just a pity it gets rolled and flattened over time, (there isnt a cardboard roll in the middle to keep it round). It was very wavy when I unpacked it, but I got the idea to wet it with the garden hose, so that I could flatten it more easily. I think it’s beautiful and very well made. It’s in our primary room, but I can tell that it could work in different spaces. It would be great for a dining room or a screened in porch. Very sturdy, tight weave of strong material. Very easy for cleaning up crumbs, or other dry debris. We needed a living room rug that would blend in with our floral chairs and accent the room nicely. We like rugs with thicker piles. This rug worked perfectly. The colors are muted enough to not fight with our chairs. It is a bit more yellowish than the picture showed but it works for us. The carpet layer smooth from the beginning.
