They definitely need a rug pad for my hardwood floors because they do slide frequently when we step on them. My rug pads arrive tomorrow and I know they will help with this. The colors are more on the subtle side. Overall color is a steel blue or smoky blue with the other colors being navy, ivory, beige, rust, very subtle mustard yellow, but could be confused with beige until you look at it closely. Sinclair area rugs have incredible softness and durability comparable to classic power-loomed rugs, reducing waste in their production. This collection is also machine-washable, making it an ideal carpet in high-traffic living rooms, hallways, entryways, and children’s rooms. The design features antique motifs with intricate details and slight distressing, creating a sophisticated, storied feel.

This is a great rug but it is rolled the wrong way in the wrapper so it doesn’t lie flat when you unroll it. The edges flip up. I unrolled it and then rerolled it the other way to smooth it out and it helped a little, but we are still dealing with the edges sticking up. Otherwise it looks great and is soft.. Dlayne.
