The rug is very soft! I have had my fair share of rugs including all wool, and Ruggables, I was impressed by the softness, even though I was skeptical of all the other reviews that said the same thing, we gave the rug a couple days to unwrinkle and it has laid out pretty smoothly for the most part. I was able to get this on sale for around $105, which I think is a great value. At the current ~$200 price point, I personally wouldn’t repurchase. The rug itself is very pretty — the colors are vibrant and give that vintage, high-end look. It’s a printed, low-pile rug, so don’t expect it to be soft or plush underfoot. It lays fairly flat, but you’ll definitely want a rug pad or some heavier furniture on it to keep it from sliding around.
