I purchased this rug to use under a mat on my front porch. The mat is not a true black. It is a charcoal color with light gray. My mat is black and looked too dark on this rug so now will be looking for a charcoal mat. The material is very nice, arrived rolled, and layed flat immediately. It is light weight so should be anchored with furniture or a mat to keep in place. It is well made. I have just received it so we shall see if it fades as my porch gets the afternoon sun. I am so happy with this choice and love how it makes the room feel. The colors are true to the description. The blue is more of a steely blue. Depending on the lighting the rug can look more creamy. The reason for 4 stars is that it came folded and had deep creases. We opened it on the driveway for several hours. It helped clear the smell and relax the creases.
