I just love my new cooktop. The design makes it really easy to clean. In terms of performance, I noticed that cook times are a little bit shorter. The gas dial has a wide range, so I can go from very low to high flame. Also having an additional burner is great. I can have multiple meals going at the same time. Update 524 Contacted Wayfair the day I found my dented bottom piece. They got me in touch with Monument Grills the same day through their support. Monument Grills shipped out a new replacement base plate and I received it today. Excellent customer service. Changed my review from one star to 4. Would of made it a 5 if I didnt have to go through having to contact Support in the first place. Used the grill a few times now. Cooks great. Came dented. I read numerous reviews stating theirs were dented. I decided to roll the dice. No luck. My dent was on the side of the lower base plate. It affected the uniform shape of the grill. Really had to tighten screws to get things to go. The right door just falls off when I open it because the lower peg is slightly unaligned. Hopefully I can contact someone and get this replaced. Our first base had a small crack in one corner, most likely due to shipping damage. Wayfair immediately replaced it and the 2nd base had stronger packaging material and came in good condition. The drain is very slightly off centered, which is how it was meant to be, but since we were replacing an older base that was centered, the hole and shower drain didn't match up. We purchase a small offset drain attachment which worked perfectly. The base is sturdy and strong and with the rings on the underside for support, it did not need any filling material. Really sturdy shower base. I would buy again. I thought the pressure-fit drain would be handy, but my plumber refused to use it because he said they can cause problems. So that wasn't much of a value. But overall a great product. Just make sure to specify where you want the drain. When they asked, I said it didn't really matter, because I was plumbing a new drain to it. But I said, "Well, just put it in the center." But maybe because I hadn't specified that on the order, they sent the drain in the rear center, as shown. And it barely worked, because there was a joist super close! Easy to install, product is intuitive, and lighting on knobs/under unit are awesome. One element that is lacking is the back hi g design. This unit is designed to be built in, and as such costs 4x what a normal Blackstone unit does. The hinge configuration creates a gap on the back edge which is not an ideal transition to your top. Back hinge placement also causes the front of the lid to wobble a bit when opening and closing. Small detail but big one when building a high end outdoor kitchen. Have not assembled the grill yet am waiting until we get to yhe lake but in the past we have have not had any issues with the assembly, parts or quality. We were very, very pleased with the delivery process. The delivery men were polite and respectful! Item came precisely when they said it would and package was packaged nicely and came totally intact - no tears or bumps in the packaging. The delivery crew called 30 minutes from when they arrived which we appreciated- it was all a very pleasant experience - as it has been in the past when I have had items delivered thru Wayfair.
