Our first base had a small crack in one corner, most likely due to shipping damage. Wayfair immediately replaced it and the 2nd base had stronger packaging material and came in good condition. The drain is very slightly off centered, which is how it was meant to be, but since we were replacing an older base that was centered, the hole and shower drain didn't match up. We purchase a small offset drain attachment which worked perfectly. The base is sturdy and strong and with the rings on the underside for support, it did not need any filling material. 48 INCH CONTEMPORARY PROFESSIONAL GAS RANGE

I love the different settings and precision.You can get a very controlled flame and it makes carmelizing onions (even small batches) a breeze. I was on the fence about going from a 30-inch range to a 48, but now I love the extra burners. It's nice having the extra oven when you are making dishes that require different temperatures. If I want to keep my roast going low and slow and pop in some rolls or cookies I can. One downside is that the knobs have little ridges around the entire side and are a pain to clean. Also the electric plug is not flush mounted like most large appliances, it goes straight back. This forces the stove to be out even further than anticipated.
