Smaller than I wanted it will not hold the towels side by side. If your plug is behind the rack there is not enough room for the towels to hang and its a fight to get them on the rack. Also the rack does not heat as well the only area that heats is where the towel is laying across the bar not just touching it. We liked the first one of these so much we bought this second one. Unfortunately the installation was much harder as the thread hole for one of the 4 set screws wouldn't accept the screw. We had to run a tool in it to clear out the threads. So I knocked off one star. We've had our first one for over a year and it keeps our damp towels from souring. (We are on well water).
