Bought this several months ago. Although I sent the link with specs and installation instructions to the builder's subcontractor, he installed the grill on wood supports which is combustible. Of course, the builder blamed us for not buying via his subcontractor (which would have been much more expensive). After the subcontractor made a steel box with cement board to address the combustion issue, we discover he didn't allow room to pull the grease pans out. It combines ease of use and durability. Finished in a glossy bright white glaze. All dimensions for fireclay sinks are nominal due to shrinking during the firing process. For this reason, we recommend waiting to receive your actual sink before purchasing a cabinet or making cuts to countertops. Dimensions will vary by up to .25 inches.
