I just love my new cooktop. The design makes it really easy to clean. In terms of performance, I noticed that cook times are a little bit shorter. The gas dial has a wide range, so I can go from very low to high flame. Also having an additional burner is great. I can have multiple meals going at the same time. The overall quality of the range has been excellent so far. We get compliments about it from all our guests and it really is a statement piece in the center of our kitchen. The only grip I have is that the burners do not turn down enough and the wok burner makes a strange humming sound at any level above 5 when any pan is placed above it. We are used to cooking with stainless cookware and the only usable burner for cooking on lower heat is the simmer burner. The others are just too intense. The grates are really heavy duty. This is a great looking cooktop! We are just not sure about the knobs. There is a stainless steel ring around the knobs that is bigger than the know itself so food or grease can get between It will be interesting to try to clean. The cast iron pot rests are beautiful and well made. The aesthetic of this piece is great. Not 100% sure about performance. We have a gas smell the plumber has been out twice and says it is coming from the knobs. Wayfair is working with Zine and there is a one year warranty so I am certain we can resolve this.. Betsy. CO. It's hard to find a replacement for a gas downdraft cooktop, but this one is great! Burners are stronger than previous cooktop (not GE). Downdraft works much better, doesn't pull flames from burners.
