Great kit! Precise cuts, quality hardware and clear, well thought out instructions. The stain appeared to be somewhat thin so I stained every piece prior to assembly, 3 coats. Used Sherwin Williams exterior wood stain. Built on 4" thick concrete that we also stained. Drilled out the supplied post mounting brackets to 1/2" I.D. and used Tapcon 1/2" x 4" masonry anchors, 4 per post to secure structure to slab. We are very satisfied with the finished product.. These nesting areas are divided into approximately 3.5” x 3.5” areas and the divider can be removed for cleaning. The chapel birdhouse platform has drain holes on all four corners and the roof is removable for easy access and maintenance. The house also is vented near the roofline while still protecting the nesting cavities from the elements. Absolutely adorable bird house. We call it "The White House." We mounted it to a tree just outside of our sunroom, great room and dining room side of the house. Tip: Get the bird seed called "Squirrel Away" from Chewy (see pic); otherwise, the squirrels will eat all of the bird seed within a day or two. Love this bird house!!! Detail and quality is amazing!
