The shed arrived packaged in two big bundles and was delivered down two dirt roads to gravel driveway. Great delivery service ! My carpenter neighbor put the building together on piers. However he reinforced the floor with additional two by fours. The building was a good value with the windows. This building is my she-shed for my Mtn getaways. I love to camp and becoming intolerant to inconsiderate, loud, and drunk neighbors in next site. We purchased primitive lot in NC foothillmtn years ago. Unable to afford a second house here, my she shed will be my camping getaway site. No close site neighbors. Plenty of storage space on the shelf inside as well. I took a while to write this because it took us six months to find a contractor to put it together! Everyone is busy during peak contractor season. The finished product is amazing. It's a great deal and an amazing shed with lots of storage. Very stylish. I think our contractor had to buy paint, roof shingles and a couple of extra pieces of plywood. I will give you the breakdown, it took a licensed builder a full week to put it together but it's done right. Just to let you know if you are a DIY it will probably take three times that. WORTH IT. This cedar shed is perfect as an additional bunk house/office for our vacation/remote work location. My contractor, who assembled it had a few issues as the directions are pretty basic. So pay attention to part numbers as the illustrated plans indicate what goes where. It arrives on two pallets with wall panels that already have the siding attached and roof panels already shingled. He bought pressure treated 2x4s and better plywood for the base/floor since the cabin didn't come with all the pieces of flooring needed (super annoying) and making 6 or 8 joist boxes is kinda silly but due to fitting everything on pallets, that's necessary from a manufacturing standpoint. So we improvised. In these photos, we had painted the floor already, preparing for laying the final flooring. We will be insulating and adding a nice whitewashed paneling for the interior walls. We may run an extension cord out there or actually run power properly. Not sure yet. My contractor billed me 30 hours for assembly and he worked alone. Great shed! The doors are pre-assembled and pre-hung and comes with complete system. The shed doors come with a durable, rust-resistant swivel hasp and galvanized steel hinges. Hinges are continuous from top to bottom to prevent sagging. Smartside siding is treated to prevent fungal decay and insect infestation.

The exterior walls are so thin that I would never recommend stapling a vapor barrier on the interior because the Staples come through on the outside even if they are very short. The frame beams are twisted and crooked, overall it is a poor quality kit. The instructions are easy, however the quality of the wood is very poor. I thought I was getting a good deal but I was not.. This gazebo came well packaged. The instructions were spot on and we had it done in 14 hours. It is very sturdy and well thought out. I suggest that you seal the wood before putting it together as others have said. We mounted this to a pre- existing concrete patio. The mounting bolts were a little small so we changed out the way we mounted it to the slab. This thing is not moving! I had one missing part and I called them on a Sunday and a holiday weekend at that and they answered. I gave them the serial number and the part number and the gal said it will arrive in 2-5 days. The Suncast 8x10 Shed is a nice addition to our property for our storage needs. I will admit the process of putting together the shed was not as easy as other reviews had suggested (however that is probably user error). Having a level base is extremely important as any uneven surface will cause the roofing and doors to not align as needed and will create some issues while putting it together. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this shed in late Fall of 2025 but was not able to assemble until Spring of 2026. The shed went together easily with two people. The hardest part was snapping the corner panels into the floor. We manage with one person pulling down on the panel while another pried up the floor to snap it into place. This shed provides plenty of room for me to clean out the garage and have items readily available instead of piled up. The shed seems to be sealed up nicely. Well the shed is great but the team sent out to install it were not even familiar with how to put together a shed. They said that they don't even get told what they're going to build just to bring tools and show up somewhere. I was very disappointed. They didn't even get to finish that day but I didn't want them to come back because they wouldn't be paid to come back an extra day.
