This rug worked out perfectly for us. We needed one to tie together shades of tan, white, gray and navy blue that are present in different parts of the room. (Sounds weird I know, but they work!) At the recommendation of another reviewer we did get a rug pad for underneath as it is soft but not as plush as the one we had previously that we had to replace due to wear and it is in a spot where our dogs love to lay. This is one of the softest nicest rugs I have ever purchased. I absolutely love it. It is incredibly soft and wonderful to put your bare feet on. I love the design and the gray looks like the picture on the website. It vacuums up very nicely. I just hope it doesn’t flatten down like most shag rugs. Time will tell.
