We really like this waterproof mattress pad. We have a dog who sometimes has small accidents during the night. The pad fits our deep mattress easily and the fabric prevents any moisture from seeping through. One tip, we bought this as a replacement for the exact pad. Do not wash in a washer with an agitator. When I went to put it on my bed I panicked thinking it wasn’t going to fit. It did with some pulling. I washed it like it said and used the slowest setting to dry it. I would have liked it to cover more of the mattress on the side, since I measured for it. I hope it stretches as we use it. I don’t put anything on my bed before washing. I was looking for a maximum 28"x48" rug to go between two doorways and every other rug I looked at, which was a lot of rugs, didn't come close to that, but this one did AND it looked nice so I got it. It's 26" but the important thing is it isn't too wide like most others. It is very good quality and much softer than expected, and you can vacuum it without it bunching up like some of the newer style flat rugs. This is an old style rug (in a good way).
