I've had this rug for over a year with no issues. It has texture without having big knots or loops. I like jute and sisal but not the smell or the shedding, so wool it is. I am super picky about my rugs. This rug arrived undamaged, with barely a scent and laid flat right away. It does not shed. I love that the edges are finished well, not serged which could fuzz or unravel. Easy to vacuum. It's very thick and soft underfoot, no rug pad. I have the 8x10 under a king bed in my guest room. I ordered the blue color (forgot what it was called at the time. Denim?) which is now called color 8? I absolutely HATE that Wayfair will no longer commit to naming its colors, heaven forbid the customers insist the rug that arrived doesn't match the color name or a photo we can barely see. Impossible to have faith in this company when it comes to rugs now. I was thinking of ordering the same rug in 9x12 for my family room but now I don't trust the color "8". Mine arrived more dominant in ivory with very narrow lines of blue, which was even better for me. It really lightened the room. But if you are looking for dominant blue from afar, this is not it. We are at the end of a remodel and I have been looking for a rug for our primary bedroom for 2 to 3 months until it was all just a blur. It would’ve been more helpful if people would state the size and color of the rug as well as taking pictures in good lighting, so I hope my information and pictures don’t leave others wondering. I love this rug! I purchased the 8 x 10, ivorybeige for our king size bed and the best I can describe the colors is vanilla and chocolate ice cream. It’s a creamy white, not yellowish and a nice milk chocolate brown. I also purchased the pad and I’m glad I did. Many people bought their rugs without a pad and would go back and add it later, but I didn’t want to do this twice. The pad did come to me folded, but the rug was rolled when it was shipped. Even if it came folded, I think it still would have laid flat very easily. It lays and feels more like a very heavy, chunky blanket and not stiff. When I got the pad, I unfolded it and rolled it up and it sat for three days before I received the rug. It fits perfectly between my floor vents, don’t forget to count for those, and blends so well with my other decor. When I received the rug, I enrolled it as the instructions stated and gave it a good vacuum and I’m glad I did before putting it in my bedroom. I filled up the vacuum tank twice.
