I am not going to lie. I was leery, but my expectations were exceeded just on the packaging alone! Took me about an hour to put together, instructions were easy-ish to follow. The operation is smooth, very quiet when moving up/down. The wiring threw me off a bit, as the light controller is in the box with the desk and everything else is in the box with the frame. I am very pleased, it feels sturdy. Caution, the box with the frame is much heavier than expected, but you can tell quality went into the making. Didn't have to program the motors or calibrate them. The cup holder is a nice touch for sure! I do wish it came with a PC tower holder, but there was room on top for the desktop. I am a developer, not a gamer, but it's perfect for my setup! The price is higher than many of the others but I chose this one, because the top is a solid piece and not split like a majority of the others. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because We ordered 2 of these desks, both desks have cosmetic damage to them, 1 of the boxes came busted and that one had a lot more damage than the other. 1 desk, the bottom drawer won’t shut properly and I have to slam it closed on an angle for it to fully close, which is annoying. Received my desk over the past weekend. It was easy and sturdy to put together, they did include a mini hand screwdriver (but I used a drill to make things quicker). Lights work great with the remote. However, I will note that the app is either outdated or does not work. So if you are looking to play music or have specific colors flashing/a specific color gradient then you can’t do that. I don’t need it nor do I mind not having it, but it does disappoint me to know part of the price of the desk was for that feature. Haven’t reached out to pursue partial refund, but that’s ok!.
