It heats up to 150 degrees in about 20 to 25 minutes. One of the main reasons I chose this sauna was because of the wattage. I did a lot of research before buying since there is such a wide price range, and higher wattage really does make a difference in how quickly and efficiently it heats. This one definitely delivers on that. It comfortably fits both my husband and me. I also love that it connects to my phone via Bluetooth so we can play music while we’re in there. Compact in size and design they also feature the auto drain system that aids in making maintenance easier by purging the generator of any excess water/minerals that would later contribute to issues down the line. All in all you get a safe, quite, reliable, luxurious steam sauna experience with compact powerhouse of a steam generator.

Steamspa / SWCorp does not service their products. When something goes wrong you have to open up the unit and troubleshoot yourself or pay a contractor to do it. Mine worked for about six months then stopped producing steam. Warranty covers almost nothing. It doesn't cover "parts", so I'm not sure what it covers. Customer service offered to sell me a new one at a 20% discount or buy new heating elements and drain valve since the tank is not draining. None of this is covered under warranty. I like my ice maker that makes nugget-ice. Two bottles of water makes about half gal. of ice. I keep it in my freezer untill needed. This will be one of the hidden splurges that I will always be grateful we went for. Lets face it ordering a steam generator is the most boring part of any shower renovation. So here are the highlights: This unit is fast , quiet, and has quite a few whistles if you will. Area on steam head for essential oils and a wonderful chromatherapy light, two control panels (inside and outside) and the auto drain. I purchase the in line filter too ( florida has hard water) . In all extremely pleased. Only reason it did not get a 5 star rating. Looking for a black matte finish on the steam heads and controllers, not available and the oil rubbed bronze look on these is just okay.
