As graceful as the fronds that flow from the crown of the palm tree after which it is named, the Maypan Chandelier has flowing upward limbs of petals made of bleached coconut shells held in place by a wrought iron frame finished in coco cream. The color of the metal is so in sync with the natural material that looks as if it is a living specimen.

Artist Jacob Lincoln was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Los Angeles is a place where all cultures and backgrounds are found. Jacob studied painting in different acrylic and oil workshops. The Art Institute is where he went to school to pursue his career in art. He enhanced his skills painterly and digitally by learning the history of all art movements. I was pleasantly surprised. I find it difficult to order artwork online, especially when there is a no return policy. I thought it might be too big, maybe the colors weren’t accurately represented, wouldn’t look good in the room, arrive damaged, etc. It was perfect! Floating frame enhanced the painting. Love it!
