Man these were a bit of a pain to put together! Took about five hours, plus about a half hour the next day just tightening all of the screws. There was a bit of an issue in the way that the pieces are shipped. Particularly with the longer back legs, the finish sticks together and so when you separated them after open the box and identifying the pieces, a little bit of the finish will pull off in some spots. Having said all of that, I do still give the chairs 5 stars in that they are quite solid and I like them - well worth the cost.
