We live on the beach and this is outside all year round in the wind/rain and salt air. There is no rust or discoloration or anything after 5 years. It is very easy to clean as well. I would have given it 5 stars but some of the screw holes were so small or didn't exist at all. It took a lot of effort to make sure everything was screwed in tightly.
