I am happy with this purchase. It was packaged well, and even arrived a day early. After seasoning the humidor, I did put a Xikar hygrometer in it, because this unit does not have one. It does have temperature control, and a cool light. I live in Michigan, and sometimes my home is around 60 degrees. My temperature on the humidor is holding well at 70. The shelves are more durable than the Newair CC-300 I used to own ( those were stapled together, and fell apart easily). I do like the Boveda holders that slide under the racks. The pegs are also a nice gesture, if they fit into the holes properly. Are there areas for improvement….Yes! Is it better than the last model …Yes! Is it fairly priced…Yes! This wine fridge works great! I like that there are the light color choices. The wood shelves are nice. I prefer them over wire or metal racks. My one issue that I knew before I ordered is that it doesnt have full extension shelves. That makes it hard to see the bottles on the back half of the shelf.
