Reclaimed from the barn it once supported, this statement piece is rich with history and character. Made in the USA, the beautiful nuances created by its labor-intensive past and Mother Nature have been cast and preserved by a patented molding material. Each piece is then meticulously hand painted and finished just waiting to welcome you home. Due to the natural imperfections captured in the reclaimed wood, the shelf will not have uniform dimensions, i.e. shelf height and depth will be marginally different across the entire mantel. 6”H x 6”D 70lbs. You may see holes from a mortise and tenon joint or other time-honored wood joining techniques. You may notice where a hinge or hook is used to hang. No two pieces of wood are the same - that is what makes these shelves so special! They are one of a kind. They have a long story already, and when you bring them into your home, that story continues with you.

I decided on and purchased this mantle for many reasons. 1) It being a Pearl Mantle let me know it would be made with quality. 2) It’s real wood and not some sort of plastic or pressed board. 3) it’s decorative and accentuates my decor perfectly and 4) the cost wasn’t cheap, but wasn’t unreasonably high! It arrived nicely packed, but I took one star away as it did not come with the 2 inch wood screws needed to do its install! It also did not come with instructions for installation. This meant searching online for instructions and having to go get the screws needed for the install.
