I love this little cabinet, it is slightly smaller than I thought it would be visually, although I did measure it for my space so I did know the actual size. It wasn't terribly hard to assemble though it did take a bit but I was taking my time. I appreciate that the labels on the wood parts have the letter as well as how many there are supposed to be which makes it very easy to make sure all pieces are present while unboxing rather than having to look back and forth to the assembly booklet. There are always pieces that the (any) instructions don't specify which way they should face and sometimes you have to back track and switch or turn a piece here and there. I like the light, you can change from blue to cool or warm white and you can turn the motion sensor on or off. It feels very sturdy and well made, still quite a bit shorter than expected visually but it does fit and work for the space I wanted it for. It also has a very nice finish but it is not wiped down from being put together in the photos so it does invite fingerprints and smudges quite a bit. It also has 1 USB and 1 USBC port each on the top which is pretty convenient for charging a phone or ear buds. Also, maybe wear gloves when you are installing the drawer guides because they are greased well and it was very hard to wash off my hands, They are full extension guides which is very nice.. I recently purchased this nightstand and overall I am satisfied with its design and features. It looks very modern and stylish, and the built-in lighting adds a nice touch to the room. I also really like that it includes a charging station, which is very convenient for everyday use. However, the assembly process could definitely be improved. The drawer slides come in three separate parts, and when trying to separate the third piece, the ball bearings can easily fall out. This made the installation frustrating and messy. In my case, two of the drawer slides were affected by this issue. It would be much better if the slides were designed in two pieces instead of three, making the setup easier and more user-friendly. These look great! Surpassed our expectations! They are sturdy and very attractive. They look and feel much nicer than their 115 price tag. Really good size too, not too big or too small. The veneer material can pass pretty well for real wood. It has actual (very subtle) wood grain *texture* that makes it look and even feel more natural. (Look at the picture I included of the table top in low light to see the texture). They do take a while to put together (~1.5-3hours), but everything in the box is individually labeled and I found the directions very easy to follow. (Just think of it as playing grown-up Lego’s, lol!) My one issue with this nightstand (and the only reason I didn’t rate it 5stars) is because of the charging station’s location and appearance. The fact that it’s pitch black *really* makes it stand out on the very blonde wood. And once you plug anything into it, it’s even uglier. Picture the mess coming out of a power strip, now picture the power strip being attached to your bed table. All those power blocks and power plugs sticking up out of the top of your night stand with cords coming out from there... yuck! Not to mention the **many** risks of having power outlets in a position where if a water glass gets spilled, it’s going to end up pouring right into the outlets on the charging station! To fix the charging station issue, We cut and glued a wood “plug” into the rectangular hole on the table top that’s meant for the charging station thingy. I cut a notch of the same size as the top hole out on the back upper corner of the cabinet (the ‘inside’ upper corner that would be closest to the bed for each nightstand). We mounted the charging station there on the back instead. Looks much nicer without it on top and means that when someone (human or cat) inevitably spills my glass of water, that it won’t instantly fry the charging station and possibly any attached electronics.. I really like the design of the night stand. I got it for my kid to add another area to hold his stuff. Putting it together on the other handle was a bit challenging. The instructions were very clear, it was just the fact that some of the screws are difficult to attach. I am still trying to figure out why I cant get the drawers in. I think I just have to do a little investigating and figure out how to fix it. I love the LED light at the bottom it turns on when someone walks up to it, it stays on for a reasonable amount of time. It is very sturdy and sleek. I gave it four stars because it is a nice added touch to a room, it is just putting it together was a struggle.
