I have had three spine surgeries cervical. I have all kinds of metal in my neck from the surgeries and I have tried 20 some pillows in about 10 years and I still have two of them and they were wore out completely. I am a side sleeper and have found this contour pillow to be perfect for this position. The pillow came rolled up in an airtight package, but quickly regained it's shape.
