You can also use the overlap stair nosing wherever you have a floor that is raised above the adjoining area. Note: Stairs that have an existing bullnose will need to have the bullnose removed prior to installing the new tread or riser to accept the overlap stair nose correctly. Splits and cracks should not affect the durability of the bamboo as long as they do not go all the way through. Make sure any holes are pre-drilled prior to using screws etc.

Made of unsealed old pine wood with a beautiful texture, the weathered warm wood tone is lovely and unique. nature splits, nail holes, and uneven surfaces may be expected due to the old wood nature.

It’s expensive for having a crack at the front left corner which is why I took off a star. I like that it’s real wood and a nice color. It does have some splinter areas on top I’ll have to sand down but that just verifies it’s real wood and I wouldn’t take a star off for that as I can fix that. I’m happy with the piece it’s just more money than I felt comfortable spending seeing that there’s a crack at the front. If it was at the back I wouldn’t care.
