Love this pressure cooker! I've been using an aluminum PC for years, but recently changed to an induction cooktopand needed an induction compatible PC. It's easy to close the lid securely, to tell when pressure has been achieved, and to quick release the pressure. Yes, it's expensive, but I'll have it the rest of my life and pass it on when I die. Just what I needed at an amazing price. I had to find a small model that could do both because I lack counter and cabinet space. I use this daily and it sits on my counter. The food processor fits quite a bit of food (4 cups)and also come with a shredder/slicer which is a bonus. The blender is full size. My first Cuisinart was a wedding gift and lasted over 25 years. Let’s hope the same for this…. Update…two years later and the food processor stopped working long ago. The blade never turns around. Blender works but I need the chopping tool more.. Sandra. MA. I never thought professional cookware makes a big difference. The conduction of heat surrounding the whole pan. If you accidentally cook to fast, just take it off heat and put the cover on, the stuck on refried beans started to loosen. You only need medium-low temps with this pan. Worth every penny!. Amy.
