The one-piece design is not only aesthetically pleasing but also offers the benefit of being easier to clean versus a two-piece toilet. By removing the gap between the tank and bowl, we eliminate the hiding place for dirt and debris. An additional benefit of the one-piece toilet is that there is no threat of leaks from bolts or gaskets that can occur in two-piece toilets. The total eco UltraMax utilizes Toto's e-max® flushing system. The e-max flushing system features a 3” wide flush valve, extra-large siphon jet, and a large trapway. This reliable, highly efficient combination generates a powerful cleansing flush while only using 1.28 gallons of water. The Toto's Eco UltraMax 1.28 GPF meets the standards for EPA watersense®, and California's Eec and Walgreen requirements. The Toto's Eco Ultramax has a left-hand chrome trip lever and has an included Toto's softclose® seat, wax ring, and toilet mounting bolts.

We have not yet installed the toilet so I don't yet know how well it works but the size and look are great. The packaging form the manufacture is not great and the first one was delivered with a shattered tank. Wayfair is great in their response to get another one sent out immediately.
