I purchased these pendants on the recommendation of a Havenly designer, and I couldn’t be happier with them. I never imagined I could replace the lights over my large kitchen island so affordably, but these pendants completely transformed the space. My previous lights were tiny, underwhelming pendants, and these feel substantial, stylish, and perfectly scaled for a big island. I had an electrician handle the installation to ensure all three hung at exactly the same height, especially since I’m working with a vaulted ceiling that’s angled, and the result looks seamless. One tip: have Windex wipes on hand during assembly. The clear glass version gets dust and fingerprints inside and out very easily, and if you skip cleaning the inside, the lights can look dingy even if the exterior is spotless. The glass balls are large and beautiful, but also very fragile. One of mine arrived broken, but Wayfair’s customer service was excellent and replaced it quickly without any hassle. Overall, these pendants are stunning and make a real statement over the island. They feel high-end and designer-approved, yet don’t break the bank. Look good over my kitchen sink and add nice extra light. The metal tubes that cover the wire can't be adjusted shorter so my husband bumps his head constantly on the light fixtures (then swears). I purchased two of these lights, in black, to update the lighting over our kitchen island. The install was easy and everyone in the house likes how they look. However, I took off a star because I paid for new lamps and one of them was very clearly a return that wayfair didn't even bother to QA before sending it to me and trying to pass it off as new because it was missing pieces, missing packaging, and had fingerprints on the shade. My husband had the missing pieces in the garage among his supply so we were able to go ahead and finish installing them - the missing pieces are up in the ceiling, so not visible, so that part doesn't matter, but wayfair should have charged me the "open box" price for one of the lamps, not the new unopened price.. This light is so elegant and small which is what I was looking to hang in my powder room. I wanted something to go directly over the Kohler pedestal sink and this is perfect.
