I wanted to love this but just don't, the colors aren't very vibrant, it is not actually painted on the wood, just an odd print which makes it look cheap. I did know that before I bought it but I thought it would look better than what it does. Not worth the price, but not worth it to me to send back and pay for shipping so I will just live with it, which is a little annoying as it is a large piece above my couch. He is not perfect he is just enough imperfect to make him quirky and fit in beautifully to my home. His nostrils and eyes are a bit off from one another. Gives him personality. He was easy to put together. The ears and rack fit in very snuggly in the slots provided so they do not move. If one wanted to they could use some wood glue and make the attachment more permanent.
