I like the detail and brassy tone of these plates. There are manufacturing imperfections like little air bubbles in the finish and small scratches in some of the plates, big enough to see but not enough to return, so you need to have a small window of tolerance for that.. Also included with the barrel are two sturdy metal spigots to install in the offset spigot locations.

Seems to be made of good quality except the screen on top. In less than a week outside it looks like the screws have already begun eroding. It is also concerning that it doesn’t sit flush with the top allowing bugs to get inside. Definitely not interested in a mosquito breeding ground. I bought this barrel and the diverter kit separately. Works best when you convert the top to a planter . This barrel is sturdy and was compatible with the eco station diverter kit. I bought 2 , and curiously enough one barrel came with 2 brass spigots and the other came with just one plastic spigot … plastic spigot does not look sturdy.. also the spigot cut out is low so you may want to elevate barrel for sufficient pressure, although you could cut your own hole and insert a spigot.
