This has been a great addition to our cats’ furniture collection! The smalleryounger cat loves to sleep on the flower on top, which is made of something like memory foam, but a bit denser. I have a very senior litty girl who is losing function in her back legs, so she really can't jump. Ordered this for her and she loves it. I've seen her scoot up and down the stairs with confidence. It was easy to put together (pay attention to the directions, you Must build it the way they suggest or you'll have to take it apart and start over). The only complaint I have is that the bed is not balanced and the first time she jumped in it it fell off the back.
