I love this pergola! I had been debating one for years and finally found one with all the features I wanted. We dont have any trees so theres no natural covering, and the backyard gets blasted with sun during the day. This pergola is perfect for manually adjusting the 4 different sections of louvers for the amount of sun wanted. We havent used the curtains or netting yet but I love having the option when needed. We paid for assembly which occurred over 3 days and 3 different crews. Caution- I dont recommend using the included anchors for anchoring to your base, unless your base is absolutely perfectly level. The gazebo looks nice once finished . It was not too difficult to assemble even though the instructions are quiet rough . We did it with just my husband and I. The worst part is the roof pieces have a film that has to be removed and that took up the most of our time. It was brutal . Maybe 4 hours to remove . Perfect for what I was looking for. Looks very durable and work well on our balcony. Very easy to install. Peel and stick tiles. The color is exactly as it appears in the picture. Darker is better if you have small pets as a lighter color will show more of the foot traffic. I gave 4 stars verses 5 because I would have preferred it a bit thicker but then again you must consider the weather conditions and how long it will take to dry if it rains or depending on where you live harsh winter weather. November 19,2020 - I wanted to write back and tell everyone that this is even a better carpet than I thought as we had an issue with an item we purchased elsewhere (outdoor heater) and the item we purchased was defected and started a fire when we plugged it an outlet to use. Sparks flew out of the items cord... instead of the carpet going up in flames it just scorched it and didn't go up in flames (see photo). The good: We bought the 14x10 and it is heavy duty. I haven't fixed it to my deck yet, but I doubt that would even be necessary because it's heavy and sturdy. It gets 4 stars because I'm confident it will serve its purpose for a long time. The bad: I can't give it 5 stars because assembly was difficult, even with 2 people in their 30s. It took us a total of around 10-12 hours over a few days. When assembling the large/heavy support beams, you will probably need to have some kind of supporting table or shelf to lean them on (or have a person hold a large piece while someone affixes it to another) to prevent bending. You'll also need at least one step ladder and a Phillips head screwdriver, which the description fails to mention and isn't included.
