I had been looking for "pre-lighted" trees when I purchased this one, so it caught me off guard when I received a tree with no lights. However, that one is on me. Regardless, it is a very FULL tree. The needles are made of paper. When the branches are properly separated, it looks just wonderful. I would definitely recommend for an "unlit" tree for which you need to add lights. The ends of the branches have a silver sparkle which got everywhere on me and the floor, so beware! Did not see that in the pictures but it looks nice on the tree once set up, just a bit messy! A very full tree, maybe a little too full for me. I usually order fir trees as they tend to have room for a lot of ornaments. However, this tree did not have the usual alternating long/short branches that I love. Instead the ornaments sit inside the tree. Additionaly, it has a very wide center pole that would not fit in any of my rotating stands and the lights tend to illuminate the tree slightly pink.
