I love this tree! I was able to put it up myself…but definitely recommend having assistance to put up the top piece. It took me a couple of hours to fluff it because I am short, so I needed to use a step ladder to get to the top. Putting the lights on was also a challenge. I think this was about 3 strands of lights. I started at the top and worked around. I love that you can see the ornaments inside the tree. I was worried but as I looked at piece of Xmas tree sticking out from plastic cover - I loved it. It’s a beautiful tree, I picked it among others for the weight as it was the heaviest. It has realistically looking plastic needles but you not going to see them at all, and inner part of a tree is different- in my understanding to maintain the weight otherwise it would be too heavy to handle. My tree size is 9 feet as we have 12 feet high ceiling. I’m also obsessed with lights and it’s modes. My favorite is fading from all yellow lights to multicolored ones. I love this tree! It is very full with a high tip count, yet has plenty of room for my ornaments to hang. It has a very natural, graceful appearance. Warning it comes VERY compacted. The first time you fluff it will take a very long time. Give it a few days for the branches to relax and to get the branches just the way you want them. There is a top and bottom to the molded branches. You may have to rotate them to face the right direction. Then to arrange them, fan out the tips “palms facing up”. The tips are all very flexible, so you can stagger everything to fill it out. The thick wire of the center of the branches are also adjustable enough to bend them if they seem out of alignment. My only suggestion for the manufacturer would be to use memory wire to cat-proof the branches, as our cats have been undoing my hard work every night.
