After washing and drying, the comforter was very wrinkled, even tho I removed it from the dryer immediately. Debating on whether I should try and iron it, but afraid I’ll burn it, lol. I was pleased with the weight during the first night’s use and slept comfortably. We really like this waterproof mattress pad. We have a dog who sometimes has small accidents during the night. The pad fits our deep mattress easily and the fabric prevents any moisture from seeping through. One tip, we bought this as a replacement for the exact pad. Do not wash in a washer with an agitator. This is a bright white filled blanket that looks like a light bedspread or light quilt. I would say it looks very nice however it is not very soft. Perhaps once I wash and dry it with some fabric softener it will soften up a little bit, but for now I would say it would not be really comfortable as a blanket, but would be much better as a bedspread and would make the bed look nice and bright white and polished, but I will use it with a comfortable blanket underneath..
