The base cabinet was pretty beat up. Unfortunately I’ve come to expect this on large shipped items. Assembly was not so bad and the grill looks good from the front. Rotisserie grilled meals are the best. They are succulent and juicy and a real crowd pleaser. Use the Napoleon heavy duty rotisserie kit to produce restaurant quality meals right in your own back yard. The large stainless steel square rod with heavy duty motor are up for any task you throw at them. The commercial quality meat forks hold your food in place with easy to use thumb screws. Burner works great! Only minus is the lighting on this 700 series is unable to connect thru the 500 series BBQ. It requires a separate and expensive power supply to activate the lights. Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off.
